Clear purpose and well communicated

One of the concepts that reinforces the importance of a clear purpose is Simon Sinek’s “Golden Circle”. Sinek, a renowned British communicator, argues that the most successful organizations focus on the “why” they do what they do, rather than merely explaining “what” they do and “how” they do it.
The “why” represents the company’s reason for being — its purpose — and it’s what emotionally connects with both employees and clients.

Here are some reasons why having a clear purpose is so important:

  • Aligns the organization: When everyone understands why the company exists and what its mission is, teamwork becomes easier.
  • Motivation and commitment: When people feel their work contributes to something greater, they become more committed and satisfied.
  • Decision-making: When facing ethical or strategic dilemmas, leaders and employees can rely on the company’s purpose as a guide.
  • Talent attraction: Companies with a clear, well-communicated purpose are more attractive to talent.
  • Builds trust: Clearly communicating the purpose fosters transparency and trust with all stakeholders.
  • Social responsibility: Companies with a clear purpose are often more committed to social impact.
  • Crisis resilience: In challenging times, purpose serves as an anchor.

This purpose and the values defined and communicated must be reflected in everyday actions. There's no point in writing nice words on the walls if leadership behavior doesn’t match them.

That’s what it’s all about: HUMANIZING BUSINESS
